KeePass 2.0/.kdbx support

Sorry to keep you all waiting. The new version of KeePassDroid has beta read-only support for .kdbx databases. I haven't exposed the additional fields this format supports, yet. I'll slowly get it all in.  Please keep backups and help me shake out the bugs.

Thanks to @kibmcz for the new icons.

  1. Will you eventually be able to make editable 2.0 .kdbx databases for KeePassDroid? Or is there a technical limitation here that probaably won't allow this any time soon? I would love to be able to use the new DB with Droid and Dropbox.

  3. Yes, Please :)
I would be in heaven if I could enter all my old password/ID's on my laptop (from my crummy blackberry password app that doesn't support export) and then just set up syncing via dropbox of the .kdbx file to/from my desktop and HTC EVO versions of KeePass/KeePassDroid respectively

  4. And have full edit capability from both (forgot to add that).

  5. Please add custom fields and attachments support. It's not useful at all without custom fields - I still have to convert to KDB format for my phone so that I can at least see custom fields info as Note.

  6. Please at least display the custom fields as part of the note as a TEMPORARY solution.

Currently, KeePassDroid is basically unusable because you can't see any of the custom fields.

Just yesterday I could not pickup a package because my electronic post office log in was invisible.

  10. Its soon 2 years since the blog. This gives slow a new meaning.

What is needed to have kdbx fully supported? How close are you to fully support it?

    Thanks!

  11. I too would pay for kdbx write support. I think after two years of waiting for this feature it would be a nice gesture to pass some status information to your user community. Your app is greate, so please finish it to become an adequate to the pc version - a keepass on droid. Thanks.

  13. Time for some communication as to status of making kdbx editable in Droid or time to move on. How about direction for exporting v2 on pc to v1 so we can tske a giant step backwards? Was about to send a donation. Lacking substantive communication, I rather flush it dowm the toilet.

  15. I made a donation that you are able to make a full editable Version for kdbx Database, to use version 2.0 of my favorite Passwordmanager on my PC and Android.

  16. Hi, when will you support other fields than usename/passwaod, like with keepass:

If there are more fields needed than username + password,
normal "String Fields" are used, which can be defined in the
    "Advanced" tab of an entry.
String fields are returned in alphabetical order and have to start
with "KPH: " (mind the space after KPH:).
